THE 'PAWS ON' APPROACH BRINGS BLUEY x CAMP EXPERIENCE TO LIFE

When CAMP requested a wall-to-wall vinyl transformation, we committed to helping completely transform this space into the perfect Heeler Family home. Meeting Bluey’s Houston, Texas move-in date meant creating a space for kids and families to laugh, play, and pretend in a real-life Bluey episode.


CAMP is known for providing innovative and immersive adventures for engaging family-fun experiences. In this case, they created a rare opportunity for kids to step through a secret passage right into Bluey's house.

Art + Prepress (T-Minus 10 Days)

The client provided a great general layout of the overall space and picture-perfect, wall-to-wall Bluey artwork. At the client's request, we replaced the waterfall with Bluey'snative greenscape keeping with Bluey’s fun, whimsical theme. With the delivery date fast approaching, we set out to implement our art standards to ensure the best possible outcome for this project.


These finer, yet critical details, include careful consideration of how the graphics will wrap doors, turn corners and adhere to the pre-existing wall surface. As well as, performing pre-production processes like dividing the artwork into panels, extending bleeds (left or right) according to the installation starting point, and even the direction the installer will flow around the space to complete the installation.

We also create alignment marks to ensure proper overlap between panels helping to avoid harsh seams. While all these adjustments may seem minor, they make a substantial difference on a project of this magnitude.




Proof Approval (T-Minus 6 Days)

After the magic of prepress is complete, a final proof isprovided to the client for one last look at the overall project.As soon as client approval is obtained, Bluey‘s Houstonhome is headed for production.



Print Production (T-Minus 5 Days)

The production team uploads art to the press and closely monitors the large format job. As it prints, Bluey’s two-room transformation becomes 50 panels of colorful graphics, set to bring the 1,875 sq. ft. iconic Heeler home to life.




Shipping (T-Minus 3 Days)

Each completed vinyl panel gets labeled to properly identify its location in the installation sequence. Then carefully rolled and packaged into tubes and processed for shipping.




Destination Reached

All shipments successfully arrive to the customer and finally, the professional installation process can begin. Installers follow the labeled shipments, graphic panels, and floor plan diagram, as they continue to move around the space placing graphic panels one by one. Here all of the preparation and planning really comes to light, making the installation process flow smoothly.


In the end, the client has a fun, vibrant Houston home for the Heeler family. A place where kids and families can experience an unforgettable immersive adventure and take part in a real-life Bluey episode.
